Between three days of rain and 10 inches of snow melting, we have a little extra water lying about.

swampthing – Thanks, I didn’t know about the grass seeds – interesting. Nice to know there’s a second purpose. BTW, the “bearded duck” post is the funniest thing I’ve read in a long time!

Wren January 11, 2008 at 12:18 pm: hey, lana – it’s rained a lot in the couple of days since I took that picture, but we seem to be at equilibrium. I don’t enjoy the weather per se, but I do like the wider expanse of water, which attracts lots of ducks and geese.
