Mary – I hear you! Fortunately, I haven’t seen them hanging out in the yard here at home but there were lots and lots in NYC.

lana – isn’t it great? I have some zoo photos and another banner pic yet to upload, so stay tuned.

mary c – The Central Park Zoo is small, but fun, and obviously the staff understands how they fit into the urban environment. I’ll look at the meme – I love a challenge, so thanks for thinking of me.

mon@rch – even better, I also saw some house sparrows and a few starlings.

It is amazing what one can find in NYC! LOL

That’s birding in NYC? Like Mary said, I could also use that banner around here – year round!

BTW, I tagged you for a six-word memoir meme. I hope you’ll try it, but if not I won’t be offended. It took some thinking on my part to come up with a six-word meme, but I think the challenge is what makes it fun.

*LOL @ the toucan banner!*

HA! The flag says it all! There are certain times during the year I could hang that in my own yard

;-)
