… that you see your own rear end ahead?
That’s how I feel right now, so I’m going to try a flurry of catch-up posts the next few days. If I go to that much trouble, though, I expect you to not only read them, but to follow the links, leave great comments, tell your friends, and add me to your blogrolls.
So, as your reward for reading this far, here are some photos from my own private march of the penguins.
A friend at work gave an impromptu origami lesson to several of us today, and we made paper penguins for the childrens’ hospital pediatric oncology ward. I never thought I’d be able to do this, but the pattern was simple and Patricia was a good and very patient teacher.
The lone penguin at the top is my first origami, the second photo my flock before they joined their friends in the donation bag. It was fun, and I’m looking forward to another bird-building session soon.

That was really interesting, Wren. And for such a great cause. I hope it brought smiles to the children.
Deborah – this was a spur of the moment event, but we all had so much fun I think we may do it again.
jayne, thanks! I am glad that my friend steered me to this penguin rather than the much more complicated one I picked initially.
mary – I hear you! Glad you like the penguins.
kathie – we’re like cats, all chasing our own tails.
Love your penguins. I think I see my own rear end up ahead! I sitll haven’t finished all my vacation posts and new things just keep happening!
You’re funny. You think you’re behind? I haven’t read blogs in two weeks. It’s all I can do to get 3 posts up very week.
You did a great job with those penguins, Wren!
How fun Wren!! You did a great job!
So cute! And very impressive for a first try, but now you have to keep it up…origami is one of those use it or lose it talents!! (Like we aren’t busy enough)
