I blog here as Wren, taking the Carolina Wren as my namesake, avatar, and totem.
Wrens are bright and cheerful little birds. I hope I can be the same and brighten your day when you visit. I'm proud to call myself a nature lover and tree hugger, and hope that sharing here will contribute to bettering this world of ours and inspiring a love of nature in my visitors.
Thank you for being here, for commenting, for helping to build a strong community of nature lovers, and for doing so much for nature, for wildlife, and for people in the "real" world.

Deborah – it is amazing how much you can see if you stop to look. And thanks for checking out the Sharpe’s Longclaw.
Three beauties! I, too, love the little gems so easily overlooked if one is in a hurry. And thanks for the head-ups about the African bird, will check it out.
Thanks, Ann – I not only look around more, and in more directions, since I’ve been blogging, I also see more. And loving it!
The thing about nature are the intriguing objects of fascination you see no matter which direction you look in! Yours was a nice look down.
