The calendar tells my brain it’s autumn, but my heart rejects the information. Even today, I saw this tree and thought, it’s much too early for the leaves to change colors.

But it’s not.

This is also my first moblog post since moving to wordpress. Another learning experience!

Abe – I’m with you on that! A little winter goes a long way, but usually what happens is a lot of winter goes on too long.

Dave – Hasn’t been a radical difference here, but mostly because the summer was so mild. I think that’s part of what’s feeding my denial. And thanks for the compliment on the blog! It’s been work, but worth it.

Still feels summer-like here. The new blog looks great! :)

After fall comes winter here in SW Ohio. I no longer think winters are fun.

Mary – I’m surprised every time I see a tree that’s changed, even if we’re on the verge of October. I think it’s that the summer was so mild, that there hasn’t been a sharp contrast as we move into fall.

Klaus – Enjoy the day – we started out warm and sunny here, but now it’s looking like rain. Bummer.

Good work on the moblog experience – great fall tree, too! And skywatch. And…
Cheers, Klaus
I’m out again – we do have the best weather since 6 months and I take advantage.

I haven’t seen that much color yet! Soon….I suppose. Not sure if I’m ready or not. I’m tired of the dry summer, so maybe autumn color will be cheery….and a bit wet, I hope!

Jade, the only thing I don’t like about fall is that it means winter is close at hand. Fall itself is a fine season.

That bright autumn tree is just what I needed to see! It doesn’t feel like autumn in southern California. :) Thanks for sharing!
