I blog here as Wren, taking the Carolina Wren as my namesake, avatar, and totem.
Wrens are bright and cheerful little birds. I hope I can be the same and brighten your day when you visit. I'm proud to call myself a nature lover and tree hugger, and hope that sharing here will contribute to bettering this world of ours and inspiring a love of nature in my visitors.
Thank you for being here, for commenting, for helping to build a strong community of nature lovers, and for doing so much for nature, for wildlife, and for people in the "real" world.

Those purple/yellow flowers are amazing! Love the bee(s) in that second one.
I like the little, white wispy cloud overhead that reminds us that that beautiful , opaque sky isn’t always all by itself up there.

2sweetnsaxy – it was a fun day for all of us, very relaxed and low key. The photographers could go crazy, the rest of the family could walk or sit, and everyone enjoyed being out in the fresh air and sunshine.
These are terrific! I really enjoy botanical gardens and arboretums. They’re a photographer’s dream.
Thanks, Mary – glad you’re enjoying them.
Beautiful flowers!
FC, Thanks – the light helped some times and hindered others, which is about what you’d expect.
Bernie – I owe the wren-laws a vote of thanks for taking us there. It was a great day and we all got lots of pictures.
Very beautiful, i would love to get a chance to shoot at a place like this, well done !
Beautiful. I really like the light on the lotus.
Klaus, coming from you, that means a lot.
Awe! Brilliant shots!
Cheers, Klaus
