Remember the Groundhog crop circle?

As I mentioned in The Things You Learn, the groundhogs wore a bare spot in the neighbor’s field.

Now, I’m noticing that right in that same spot, the vegetation is different. No idea what that means, it’s just one of those interesting things you notice.

have you ever noticed a family resemblance between groundhogs and ET?

Maybe aliens practice the art of photosynthesis-or maybe they were Irish beer swilling groundhougs.

Dave might be spot on! LOL!

    I love a good hydro-eco-geo-logical mystery!

I agree, that is an interesting possibility suggested by Dave. I don’t know about the habits of groundhogs, either; they are pretty much alien to me (pun intended, in fact, deliberate)

Maybe these plants were brought in via the groundhog “squeezin’s?”

Welcome!

I blog here as Wren, and take the Carolina Wren as my totem and namesake.

Wrens are bright, cheerful, faithful little birds. I only hope I can be the same, contribute to bettering this world of ours, and brighten your day when you visit.

Thank you for being here, for commenting, for helping to build a strong community of nature lovers, and for doing so much for nature, for wildlife, and for people in the "real" world.
