Skywatch: Ou est Wren?

Actually, it’s “where was” Wren, not “where is” she. But this is pretty much a “gimme” so I’m not going to tell Klaus, Mike, or anyone else who knew or guessed where I was that they can’t comment. I knew before I went that this was one iconic Skywatch that I had to photograph before I returned home.

Skywatch is a meme, a communal sharing, of photos of the sky from around the world. It’s just-for-fun, not-for-profit, and noncompetitive. To participate, blog a photo which includes the sky, then add its link to the master list at the Skywatch website. Enjoy, and visit the rest of the Skywatch posts when they are posted at 7:30 GMT today.

Wren: That is outstanding and a wonderful view of the tower, nicely done. I thought I was here but must have missed it somehow.

Great photo … I’ve been there but never up top. Do you have a view from the top by any chance?

How can anything so massive appear so delicate at the same time? This is a wonderful perspective, Wren. Your point of view makes me appreciate the height of the thing!

Oh quite nice to to see famous Paris monument in Orlando, thanks for sharing Eiffel Tower and a clear blue sky.

… but if you want to see Vigelands monolith you have to go to Oslo or you have to visit my blog next week.

I bet that I’ll never make it to the Eiffel Tower, but it’s a place I’d really like to visit… So massive… So complex… And rather beautiful to top it off…

Wonderful Skywatch photo, Wren! Thanks for stopping by my My World Tuesday! So, you used to live in Va…then you do know, it’s a great place. But, France–now I’d adore visiting there! :-) Take care–

Re your commment, I LOL’d about you waving from the other side of the the Lake! And on the occasional clear day (with low smog) it almost seems possible!

I love the angle of your shot of one of the most easily recognized structures on the planet. I gotta get over there to see it as some point. It is sorta sad the Disney has one too though.

The perspective is great. I would say the Eiffel tower is from Epcot.

  14. krizcpec

Now I am confused, this is not the real Eiffel Tower?

  15. Tootie

I love Epcot! Hope you had a good time in the French Bakery. :-)

Great shot Wren! Enjoy France while you’re there and try to get out to the southern French countryside where both the people and the countryside are beautiful. Super SWF capture.

  18. Carletta

    Great perspective!
    Lucky, lucky, you!
