Everyone should click on your photo to see the bigger version. Those trees look absolutely lacy!
That’s quite a dramatic sky. November sure does know how to bring on the drama!
Winter has its own kind of beauty, this is a great photo.
Such a lovely photograph, Wren. I can almost feel the cold. I am not surprised you had a sprinkling of snow just after it was made. It’s beautiful.
By the way, I was very moved by what you said on another blog about your Dad still mourning his brother who joined, too young, and was killed at Okinawa. Very sad.

Beautiful photo. It’s lovely just before the winter comes. But now I’m waiting for the snow;)
Seems like winter is nearby!
I love your picture. Makes me want to get a cup of hot chocolate and sit before a fire and then look out the window at the cold world outside and me toasty warm inside.
I love your photo. It’s cloudy but after all it’s winter.
BRRRRRRR beautiful in a cold way… Happy Veterans Day!
That picture does show you are at the brink of winter. Thanks for sharing. My part of the world is here:

Beautiful Nature and your World.
The edge of winter… This is very poetical! Thanks for your heartfelt wishes! I feel glad that I am surrounded by good friends.
At the edge of winter, yes that’s true ! Trees are getting all naked ! A beautiful shot !
Michelle, the post is there now but it’s different from what I saw before. The post as it is now is included in the list on the MyWorld site, but since I didn’t see the earlier one, I can’t comment on Tom’s decision.
Very nice shot – and we’re on the verge of summer here!
It does look like the edge of winter, Wren. I feel that November feeling, the bleakness that sets in like a cold wind before the snow softens the landscape.
That is what my world looked like today as well, winter is coming
