More photos of the sky we saw as we walked around Paris. My advice: look up, and you’ll see a variety of interesting sights!

Skywatch is a meme, a communal sharing, of photos of the sky from around the world. It’s just-for-fun, not-for-profit, and noncompetitive. To participate, blog a photo which includes the sky, then add its link to the master list at the Skywatch website. Enjoy, and visit the rest of the Skywatch posts when they are posted at 7:30 GMT today.

Beautiful images, especially the horse-drawn chariot against the clear, clear sky. The gull looks very at home, too!

I recognize the first two but not the third. Isn’t Paris a nice place to visit. I could live there a couple or three years and it would be OK with me.
Happy SkyWatch, I’m doing it again this week (Little Photo Place). Not nearly as pretty as your Paris sky but I did find sky.
:-)

The horses and chariot statue is amazing. Love those blue horses with the gold harnesses.
The bird is funny. Looks like another statue, except for the poo running down the stone. lol!

Great shots :)

Happy Sky Watch Friday!

Wonderful SWF photos, Wren.
It’s not only in Paris one should look up. People like to point their nose down to much I believe. Then they miss to much beauty.

Very nice captures of the Paris sky. Quite creative and artful.

Deborah Godin November 13, 2008 at 4:20 pm

Who’s that supposed to be in the chariot? Apollo? Would be kind of fitting is that who it is. Really impressive, whoever!

Wren: Outstaning shots from your trip to Paris, the statue is so special with the angels on each side of the chariot.
