my world #8: back at home, but there’s still snow

You can’t really tell from this photo, but when I took this picture of the sun, it was snowing. I was ready to head out the door to work, and just stopped long enough to take this on the run. I had never seen sunshine and snow at the same time. It’s very pretty, but pretty eerie at the same time.

That’s a glimpse into my world this week. To see the world through others’ eyes, visit “That’s my World”, a weekly meme sharing photos and impressions of all the world seen through the participants’ eyes.

The light in this photo is so very beautiful! And I never thought of it before but from now on shall ask myself when it is snowing, “Is the sun shining?” A neat capture for sure!

The snow ans sun combination was eerie, but I’m glad the photo turned out to be interesting – even if you can’t see the snow!

How perfect to have the sun on the horizon while being blanketed and insulated by a light snow. If only there could be a rainbow too.

Not really related to the post, but… I know you’ve been submitting a lot of my posts to StumbleUpon. It’s something I should really get around to signing up with and participating in, but haven’t yet. I’m not sure if it was through you or not, but yesterday I had 700+ visitors to my blog coming from my goldfinch post submitted to StumbleUpon. My previous one-day high was 280 on the day I hosted I and the Bird. I don’t know how many of those will stick with me as new readers, but even just getting that many hits blew me away. So thank you!
