Gorgeous gull, Wren. Love how crisp and clean it is against the sky.

Hi Wren. Is that an A2 gull? I remember always being puzzled that there were so many of them around town (mainly the landfill). I thought they should all be at the lake. This place is almost too sexy for me. Very nice visuals on your blog. And, while I was rummaging about, I found that we like the same TV and No#1 Ladies. She’s so proper and spunky…heading over to Skywatch.

I’d say it does. Those pesky birds are quite annoying when you’re trying to lounge on the beach with a good book, but they do make for a great photo don’t they?! Nice capture. I’m looking at the sky here.

Sea Gulls against a blue sky is always a winner.

Well, doesn’t he look pleased with himself! It’s like he knows that everything’s better with birds. Happy SWF. :)

Yes, it does, and doesn’t he look proud as can be, sitting up there?

Well, gulls and buoys, everyone (who’s anyone) knows that!
I’m very partial to seagulls, I think they’re hilarious to look at and watch.

Fantastic sky picture!

Musings from Hawaii December 11, 2008 at 3:12 pm

There is something very wonderful about this photo. The seagull seems to be surveying his domain.

Müge December 11, 2008 at 3:04 pm

I agree! :-) Very nice shot!

Have a beautiful week-end!

Yes, he does have a majestic rule over your sky photo. Beautiful photo with three simple elements (bird, sky, roof).

Sylvia Kirkwood December 11, 2008 at 2:43 pm

What a beautiful pose! He seems to think he’s the eagle on the President’s seal (and he wouldn’t shame it if he was, with that look!). It’s a gorgeous photograph altogether: the blue sky and such a character. Congratulations!

He has the best view way up there!! Lucky little guy. Great capture!

I want to thank you for coming by when I was sick in the last few weeks. Your support was so appreciated. I really mean that!!
Thank you so very much.

Yes, regal, and maybe a little disdainful, too…of mere people who can’t even fly!

wren December 11, 2008 at 11:34 am

Looks very regal, doesn’t he?

Hi Wren, This is my first time visiting your blog.. I read Jayne’s blog on things we love in nature. My hubby and I love being out in nature. We love sunsets and sunrises –and especially waterfalls. Check out my blog today if you have time for some ‘beauties.’ I enjoyed your blog.
