Thanks, Liza Lee – the white cotton-y looking plants were so thick in one area, I thought it was snow on the ground until we got closer.
They are so lovely.
Thanks, mon@rch. Even better, I had fun taking them.
Stunning photos of such great flowers!
jayne – I’d put it on everyone’s bucket list (just saw the movie and loved it)
Lynne – me too!
Betsy – don’t forget George
SG – they were in the 3-5 foot range, which is pretty short for a spruce. They just look like very young trees, but they’ll always be that height.
George – I hope she does, too, George!
Wren, all of these flowers are just beautiful. I see that Betsy says she’s going to Alaska someday. I hope she’ll take me with her!
Are those dwarf trees? I have yet to see any even though I was supposedly in the area which they grow.
Beautiful flowers… I am SO enjoying your tour of Alaska.. I WILL get there one day!!! Hugs, Betsy
I’ve always loved those tiny alpine flowers.
Alaska is on my bucket list for sure. Beautiful flowers. :c)
