Looking at all the other comments, everything I want to say has already been said – a fantastic close-up that makes me fear for your safety taking it, with those talons! So majestic and mighty!

Alas, the bird was much further away than I would have liked. Long lenses have their advantages, but also their disadvantages.

Awesome shot! Sitka is such an awesome place to visit and it’s amazing how many Bald Eagles you can see around the city!

Wow! So close in that photo, I feel as if I can reach out and touch him. What sky? All I can see is him…and I’m loving it! Excellent photo of such a royal, elegant, and strong majestic bird (the word bird doesn’t even sound appropriate, does it?)
