Wow…I wish I could see my bald eagles here that clearly. Wonderful photo!
Oh darn, such a wonderful bird!
And a great catch too
(But I don’t see your tweet button?!
I guess I am plain blind?)
Looking at all the other comments, everything I want to say has already been said – a fantastic close-up that makes me fear for your safety taking it, with those talons! So majestic and mighty!
Alas, the bird was much further away than I would have liked. Long lenses have their advantages, but also their disadvantages.
You really get a sense of the eagle’s power in this shot!!!
Awesome shot! Sitka is such an awesome place to visit and it’s amazing how many Bald Eagles you can see around the city!
Thanks for stopping by, and leaving your encouraging comments.
Whow!! The king of the skies!?! So very majestetic and beautiful!!
Oh so powerful so majestic! I’m in awe not only of the eagle but of this photography! WOW!
Wow! So close in that photo, I feel as if I can reach out and touch him. What sky? All I can see is him…and I’m loving it! Excellent photo of such a royal, elegant, and strong majestic bird (the word bird doesn’t even sound appropriate, does it?)
Gorgeous!
