Wren: What a beautiful photo of a wonderful bird, thanks so much for sharing.
Majestic
and
amazing!
Wonderful!
…by which I mean you did a really, really good job.
Jochen, thank you.

No, it is not.
With a bird that shows a “face” that invites anthropomorphism, it is much, much harder to get a good picture.
The bald eagle looks as though he is posing in formal robes in his throne room! Dramatic photo!
So bold. Great shot.
Sydney – City and Suburbs
Thanks to you all for the compliments. With a subject this impressive, it’s easy end up with a great photo.
Great shot Wren!
What a magnificent bird …and such a stately pose !!!
Wonderful capture !!
Handsome, majestic bird! Happy SWF!
Oh what a majestic pose from a majestic bird. He knows his worth, doesn’t he?
A noble but violent looking bird juxtaposed against a calm blue sky. I like the paradoxical union between these two contrasts in this shot….or at least that is what I see.
That is amazing! Look at that beautiful bird watching you.
That’s a fantastic shot of the bald eagle. So majestic with the sky behind him.
Breathtaking capture! And he does look grand, royal indeed! The sky is the perfect backdrop!
What a stunning view!!!, my compliments, like to take a shot like this one!!!
Have a nice SWF

I am completely in love with bald eagles – and this one is spectacular !!
How incredibly regal and majestic! Wonderful!
I read an article in the Telegraph in the week, that a chap was going to para glide the channel with his tame and trained Eagle.England to France.
They are such magnificent birds that it would be an honor to be in their company.
Lovely capture. Have a good weekend.
That sounds really cool – I’m going to look for that story.
Wow. That is one great eagle shot!
geeeez, Wren, that’s one heck of an awesome picture.
That’s just grand – a wonderful heraldic pose!!
Thanks, Deborah. I can see why the eagle beat out the turkey as the national bird, can’t you?
