Great capture, Wren. Very nicely done.
Nice shots.
Adrienne – The live bird was perched on a building roof.
Interesting carving. Was the raven sitting atop a roof of some sort?
This is really cool, Wren. Wonderful idea.
And I love ravens.
Those are both wonderful shots and so interesting to see the living bird and then the totem carving. Happy weekend!
Dawn – Ravens are very wise. The feather has a purpose, and it is not my place to comment.
Clever! Magnificent close up of the real one. I swear he is posing.
Great comparison. And from those two shots, they are almost perfectly aligned.
Wonderful photos!
Terrific photos! Love the ravens!
Love those big birds. Both of them.
Ah, thanks for fixing my Raven craving. I haven’t seen one (the bird) for a while and I don’t think I’ve even seen anything like that carved one.
Wren, Excellent post! Love it!
Seeing the title in my bloglist, I got excited about this post like I always do when ravens are mentioned, and made a beeline here – and was rewarded with these wonderful shots of the carving and the bird!!
Nice photos..both looking up at the raven and into the sky! did u tell the first Raven he has a feather out of place?
