It was quite cloudy when we left that morning, but fortunately the skies cleared and the sun came out so that we could enjoy the river views.
That would be a grand place to live. and the sky is pretty to, with that band of clouds.
I heard that it’s in the last 10 years or so that the flooding has been controlled, and that building has boomed since. Indeed, there were houses all up and down both banks, but each managed to hold itself apart from the others.
Yes, it difinitely would be a lovely place to live. In fact, I enjoyed just seeing it through your photo.

The colors were beautiful. I tried for a closer snap of the flowers, but the boat was moving a little too fast for that.

It would be breathtaking… I’d never get anything done, so distracted by the view. Absolutely stunning. I love the roll of cloud in the background, too!
I have enough trouble working any time there’s anything to see outside. This would up the difficulty by an order of magnitude.
My friend actually has a house much like that. I love going over to his place and just relaxing by the river.
