Before we went to Boyd’s Hill, Vicki, two of her neighbors, BFF Judy, and I went to Florida Native Orchids. I seem to be the only one who left without a plant in my hand, but what I lacked in flora I made up in photos. I’ll be posting some of my favorites here, interspersed with seasonal updates from the Midwest. Something, I hope, for everyone.

Reminds me of when I went to Atlanta Botanical Gardens several years ago. The family had to drag me and my camera out of the orchid house. Nice photos in this series, wren.

Thanks, Con! Our families put up with a lot, don’t they? I’m always asking for just a few more minutes, or promising to be back at some time I manage to miss.

Absolutely gorgeous! Nice and bright to cheer a gray day up here in the north! Sounds like a fun trip so far. Enjoy! ~karen

Indeed it was a wonderful trip, and I have *lots* or orchid photos to show for it. You know the nice thing about pictures of flowers? I can’t over water them!
