This is a test. Are you an optimist or a pessimist? Is the season half winter or half spring?
It must be spring, the geese are back.

It’s spring–I saw a Great Blue Heron on Sunday!
Much more reliable indicator than the robins, who have been here all winter.
Wren: The thing I know for sure is Spring is starting to arrive.
Isn’t it wonderful?
Lovely shot!
Thank you, Arija.
So true! Great pic.. I can see that most of your snow has melted.
More disappears everyday.Hurrah!
Wonderful shot.
Thanks, Rajesh.
That’s a beautiful shot. I would go with early spring.
Excellent choice. We have high hopes for the 2010 Spring.
What a great capture! Nice colour tones.
Days are longer.Sun is out.Temp above 50 degrees here in Ohio… Hope it’s the same in Michigan…
Oh, I’m definitely an optimist! And I love the geese! Wonderful photo as always, Wren! Hope you have a beautiful “spring like” week — whether it is in reality or not!

Great shots.
We get a TON of geese here. Not back yet for us. Love seeing all these spring photos! Soon, hopefully I will be able to post some too!
Ciao Wren…… I am a superoptimist and do love indeed your marvellous geesses…in the high light grass…..wow…..I just have a “faible” for them and this shot is just SUBLIME….!!!!!!!!!! All my COMPLIMENTS!!!
ciao ciao elvira
Ah, I can tell you aren’t in Kentucky! Here the geese stay all year, no matter what the weather is. And they are joined by some of the guys from your neck of the woods. But I still vote for spring!
