I missed my world last week and I’m glad I found this. What an interesting look at the town. I love the mixed shots you took. I always love the birding shots but this is interesting in another way.

The first shot could be any tiny town in Australia as well. A fun post.

What a homey little spot. I love small towns, and that one is even smaller than mine. – Margy

Nice photo essay. I enlarged the last shot to see if I could read what it said. I couldn’t read the smallest print but I got most of it. Very funny!

Apparently it’s nothing against dogs, but strong objections to ticks, fleas, and large amounts of mud being brought into the hotel rooms.

Sure looks empty, your ND towns!
I must say, I am curious about the building in the second photo with the renovations that include the strangely tiny new windows!

Love the bench. Thanks for the tour and where is everyone? :-)

Great prairie shots! Looks exactly like southern Saskatchewan too!

Thanks for sharing these scenes with us, at least we see where you do your birding, for those of us who wouldn’t be able to visit.

Love the sign that says not responsible for accidents. I admit it made me smile. In fact, I’m still smiling. :)

“tank accident” is not something I want to experience!

The first two photos remind me a bit of Edward Hopper’s painting. Great pictures :)

Wren: What a neat look at a town time has forgotten.

Forgive me, Wren, my brain was snoozing! I didn’t mean to call you Ebie — I had just visited her blog! Ah, the joys of old age!!!

That bench shot with “signature” from the 80′s is great, Wren! I like the first perspective of the street, too. Lovely stroll through town.

What an “area abandoned” feeling you get from your fantastic captures, Ebie! Like stepping back in time. Great post for the day! Have a great week!

Sylvia
