This is not the greatest photo, but it’s the last bird from the series at the Koala Sanctuary. I identified it as a Noisy Miner at the time, which I wouldn’t do based solely on this photo.
Got birds?

I blog here as Wren, taking the Carolina Wren as my namesake, avatar, and totem.
Wrens are bright, cheerful, faithful little birds. I hope I can be the same and brighten your day when you visit. I'm proud to call myself a nature lover and tree hugger, and hope that sharing here will contribute to bettering this world of ours and inspiring a love of nature in my visitors.
Thank you for being here, for commenting, for helping to build a strong community of nature lovers, and for doing so much for nature, for wildlife, and for people in the "real" world.

One of the delights of traveling is that you can see very common birds and find them delightful and fascinating just because they are not found where you live.
Can be very noisy when they want to be.
They are not aggressive but they do sit and scold – noisily! – when you invade their territory. Nice photo!
WOW, that’s a cute one
!
if you would not recognize it solely on this photo, does that mean you did so because it is noisy?
Fortunately, I was keeping notes of sightings as well as taking photos. I saw it well enough to ID at the time, even if the photo is less than definitive.
That’s a new one for me!
It would be a new one for me too!
well, I don´t recognise it. Don´t think it visits Sweden
We don’t see them in Michigan, either.
I just love their name: Noisy Miner.
Birds in Backyards has got their (noisy) call on MP3 http://www.birdsinbackyards.net/finder/display.cfm?id=10
That’s a great website!
