I blog here as Wren, taking the Carolina Wren as my namesake, avatar, and totem.
Wrens are bright, cheerful, faithful little birds. I hope I can be the same and brighten your day when you visit. I'm proud to call myself a nature lover and tree hugger, and hope that sharing here will contribute to bettering this world of ours and inspiring a love of nature in my visitors.
Thank you for being here, for commenting, for helping to build a strong community of nature lovers, and for doing so much for nature, for wildlife, and for people in the "real" world.

It is scary, isn’t it, lana? but I do believe that our blogs and efforts such as FOTT make a difference.
I was depressed today to learn (via ABCNews,) that the world is being deforested at a faster rate than ever before. I feel blessed to see, touch & experience trees because at this rate, someday they won’t be there. <:(
