I think it is utterly unfair that the southern hemisphere cormorants are so numerous in variety and beautiful in pattern when compared to our shores.
And it is utterly unfair that American warblers are so much more beautiful than European ones.

Geez, there’s not enough fairness in the bird world, is there?

I totally agree. The southern hemisphere has a monopoly on penguins, too. How unfair is that?
