I blog here as Wren, taking the Carolina Wren as my namesake, avatar, and totem.
Wrens are bright, cheerful, faithful little birds. I hope I can be the same and brighten your day when you visit. I'm proud to call myself a nature lover and tree hugger, and hope that sharing here will contribute to bettering this world of ours and inspiring a love of nature in my visitors.
Thank you for being here, for commenting, for helping to build a strong community of nature lovers, and for doing so much for nature, for wildlife, and for people in the "real" world.

Heather – perhaps a scene like this was the inspiration for spa offerings such as hot stone massages.
scienceguy – I’m sure they must be active at times, but it’s never when I’m around.
bird – I wish! What a talent, to be able to sleep on hard rock in bright sunlight, and enjoy it.
What a master of relaxation. Do you think he’ll teach us his secret?
Must have been a very deep sleep. Seals are almost always sleepy.
Gots to get that belly WARM!
In the world of sleepers, this seal was a master.
Wren, your words are so succinct! Perfect! You made me laugh!
Hehehe, pure poetry.
