I blog here as Wren, taking the Carolina Wren as my totem and namesake.
Wrens are bright, cheerful, faithful little birds. I hope I can be the same and brighten your day when you visit. I'm proud to call myself a nature lover and tree hugger, and hope that sharing here will contribute to bettering this world of ours and inspiring a love of nature in my visitors.
Thank you for being here, for commenting, for helping to build a strong community of nature lovers, and for doing so much for nature, for wildlife, and for people in the "real" world.

Deborah, I believe that all the ones in this series were fairly modern in origin. Unfortunately, I didn’t take good notes at the time and can’t share anything more specific.
Interesting symbols alright. Wonder what the date is on that one, it’s obviously more “contemporary”.
sandy – these fascinate me, just as the petroglyphs in Arizona and California did.
