I blog here as Wren, taking the Carolina Wren as my namesake, avatar, and totem.
Wrens are bright, cheerful, faithful little birds. I hope I can be the same and brighten your day when you visit. I'm proud to call myself a nature lover and tree hugger, and hope that sharing here will contribute to bettering this world of ours and inspiring a love of nature in my visitors.
Thank you for being here, for commenting, for helping to build a strong community of nature lovers, and for doing so much for nature, for wildlife, and for people in the "real" world.

oh, my, what a beak that bird have. But…….the bird looks sad
It’s a better look than I’d ever get in the wild, and chance to capture some of the detail it’s so easy to miss. Now, I’ll be even more thrilled when I see one out in the world.
What a gorgeous regal bird! Nice close shot of the feathers, too. On another note, I wanted to let you know that I”m taking a break from blogging for an unspecified while. But even those I’m not posting, I’m still following yours, and will drop by when I can!
What a fierce looking bird!
Wow, look at the beak on that bad boy will ya? And the talons are as big as that guys hand! That is one impressive bird and an excellent photo Wren.
You don’t realise how big they are until you see one close up like that. Great photos.
Very nice to be that close to such a great bird. We occasionally see them out here close to the coast soaring high overhead.
Whoa!! He is gorgeous!!
Wow, what a cool closeup. They are all fabulous photos of the wedge tailed eagle.
