I blog here as Wren, taking the Carolina Wren as my namesake, avatar, and totem.
Wrens are bright, cheerful, faithful little birds. I hope I can be the same and brighten your day when you visit. I'm proud to call myself a nature lover and tree hugger, and hope that sharing here will contribute to bettering this world of ours and inspiring a love of nature in my visitors.
Thank you for being here, for commenting, for helping to build a strong community of nature lovers, and for doing so much for nature, for wildlife, and for people in the "real" world.

You bet I’d a walk a mile to see this guy! Great camel!
I remember the slogan, and I’d walk a mile for this guy. Maybe he’d give me a ride when I got there. Nice photo!
Great shot of the camel. Love the Title.
I was wondering how many readers would be close to me in age and remember the slogan.
Nice catch! Mine is up. Hope you can drop by to view my very first entry. Your visit is a blessing. God Bless!

Just to see him? Well, why not? Have a beautiful weekend!
i walked more than a mile that day, and saw much more than the camel. It was indeed worth it.
